Hey there!

We’ve talked about cleaning and maintenance — now let’s go over some tips for displaying and storing your models safely and beautifully.

  1. Use display cases.
Acrylic or glass cases keep dust and moisture out while showing off your collection clearly.

  2. Mind the lighting.
Avoid direct sunlight — UV rays can fade colors and materials. LED lights are safer and create a great showcase glow. 💡

  3. Control humidity.
Too much moisture can damage delicate materials. Use silica gel packs or a dehumidifier if your area gets humid.

  4. Stable surfaces only!
Make sure shelves are sturdy and level. Even small vibrations can cause long-term balance issues or leaning.

  5. Avoid overcrowding.
Give each figure or doll enough breathing room — it prevents accidental scuffs and makes the display look cleaner.

  6. Rotate your display.
Swap which pieces are on display every few months to evenly preserve materials and joints.

  7. Label your collection.
If you’re a serious collector, small nameplates or tags add a museum-style touch while helping track display rotation.
